Latest Releases:

Legacy

My most recent release, is "Legacy : 20 years of Tpolical Songwriting" CD /DVD which I hope will be a full swag of interestingness for you all. As well as 15 of my best political songs from over the years on CD, the DVD has an 8-minute music video of "Black Carrie", live footage from Woodford Folk Festival and the Harp in Sydney, a slideshow of weird and wonderful pictures I took on my travels around the world, and some beautifully inspirational videos from international environment groups.

You can see the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyI5hAvkIug

For the title track, I've re-written my 1992 song "Legacy" to bring it up to date with current global events and concerns, and included a new song "Black Snake Range" about my lovely mountains here. In addition, I've re-recorded "So Lucky" finally to my satisfaction and also "No Way In, No Way Out" as the original version from 1991 was a too poor-quality a recording to put next to the other material. It's OK on Archive Vol.2, because they're all of a piece, but right next to the spanky recordings I made later, it sounded a bit tatty. But the new version I'm very happy with. Huge thanks to Mal Webb and Peter Haydon for all their help in recording

The songlist is a follows:

      Legacy 2010
Black Carrie
Mother Song
Lionhearts
 Our Apartheid
 Black Snake Range
 Car
No Way In, No Way Out
 Safe Home
  Guenevere and the Fire
The Old Man in the Rock
Aunty Betty
 Madness, Mines and Mortgages
 Steel-Hearted Annie
So Lucky

Some of these songs have been unavailable for years, as the albums there were on have been out of print, so I'm very happy to be able to make them available again.
